Soren Ashley

Psychologist BSc (Hons) MPsych

I believe therapy is a deeply relational and embodied process—a space of presence, curiosity, and compassionate connection where healing unfolds in its own time, and within a larger web of life. With over a decade of experience across non-profit, public, and private settings, my work is shaped by mindfulness, depth psychology, and an ecological sensibility that honours the entanglement of mind, body, relationships, and environment.

I support individuals, couples, families, and LGBTQ+ clients with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, relationship challenges, and life transitions. My approach is less about fixing and more about gently remembering and reweaving the forgotten parts of ourselves—cultivating healing through connection, embodied awareness, and attunement to the subtle dynamics between self, others, and the more-than-human world.

Group therapy is central to my practice: a living laboratory for insight and transformation. In this shared, relational space, individuals discover not only themselves but also the rich ecological tapestry of human connection—where healing arises through vulnerability, mutual support, and relational depth.
