The core of my therapeutic style is a commitment to creating a warm, and non-judgmental space where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood. I believe that meaningful change begins with a strong therapeutic relationship grounded in safety, trust, and empathy.
I work with individuals across the lifespan from adolescents to adults and support them with a wide range of challenges including depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, emotion regulation, alcohol and/or substance use, and complex trauma. I have a particular interest in attachment-based issues and how early relational patterns continue to impact us in the present. Together, we’ll explore what lies beneath the surface, build on your strengths, and work toward personal growth.
I have experience working in various settings including public adult mental health services, Headspace and adolescent drug and alcohol service.
I draw on a range of evidence-based approaches that are tailored to individual needs. I primarily operate within a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) framework, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) Schema Therapy and also use Motivational Interviewing (MI) framework.
