Deepika comes with over 14 years of experience in the field of psychology & mental health. She has worked extensively with clients in both corporate and clinical settings across multiple countries and cultures, to enable them in handling their work and life issues more effectively. She works with an empathetic and facilitative bent of mind which allows for individual experiences to come through, helping her clients find counselling to be a safe and positive space.
Her sessions are client centered and the approaches followed are eclectic with a blend of Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Interpersonal Therapy. She believes in a mindfulness based approach to handle stress and is growth oriented in her approach. Some areas of her interest and expertise are understanding of self, work life balance, depression & anxiety management, stress management, coping with loss and grief, leadership development, transition management, post partum blues, parenting, marital discord, interpersonal difficulties amidst others.
She is also passionate about diversity & inclusion and is an advocate for emotional wellbeing in daily life. She is always open to new experiences and is up for a professional, non judgemental conversation with her clients!
